I agree with Glenn Reynolds' letter writer & Hyman Roth. We've been living in a state of civil war for some time anyway. Let's acknowledge the truth that commonality is impossible and fight as the other side does: to destroy the enemy.

Rick, you are far more astute than me, but I really have to question your assertion that McCain and Obama are "locked in an extremely tight race." Would you mind explaining? I just don't see how ACORN or anything else possibly cost Obama the election at this point even if the MSM began reporting negative news.
At this point, the scenario is admittedly farfetched. But stranger things have happened in politics. And regardless, Ohio is going to be very close at the end unless McCain really falls off a cliff - possible but not likely.
